In Lviv, about 50 apartment blocks and private houses were damaged by Russian shelling, Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi said. Classes were cancelled in several schools.

Thus, as a result of a rocket attack in Lviv, almost the entire family - three daughters Yaryna, Daryna and Emilia and wife Yevheniya - died in their own home. Only her husband Yaroslav survived, said Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi.

The eldest daughter, Yaryna, was 21 years old and worked as a programme manager at the Lviv European Youth Capital 2025 office.

Daryna, 18, was a second-year student of the Cultural Studies programme at the Faculty of Humanities of the Ukrainian Catholic University, an active student, a mentor at the UCU Volunteer Lab, and a Plast member.
