Doctors removed a piece of a VOG-17 grenade fragment from the wounded serviceman's shin, the command of the Military Medical Clinical Centre of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.

The soldier's limb was saved.

The patient's condition is currently stable. He is being prepared for further medical evacuation and treatment.
